Official Tournament Fishing Guide for Babes on the Bay!

Bay & Surf Fishing Specialist!

A Welcome Message from the Captain!

Hello!  My name is Capt. Rick and I am a native Texan.  I grew up fishing the bays and surf in Matagorda, TX with my grandparents.  As I became older, I fished the bays and surf in Galveston, Port O'Connor and Rockport, Texas.  I am a full-time fishing guide and I am USCG and TPWD Licensed.  It has been my good fortune over the years to do doing something I truly love, can't imagine doing anything else.

Whether it's wadefishing, boat drifting, surf fishing or whatever your preference may be, I will be happy to take you out on your

dream day of fishing!

The Rockport area bays and back-lakes provide a wide variety of game fish from Trout, Redfish, Flounder and Black Drum year around to Blue Herons, Spectacular Sunset and Dolphin Tours!

Current Bay & Surf Fishing Report!

July 2016:

Fishing has been good so far this season. Some of the bay's have been fresh since all of the rain. San Antonio, Ayres and Copano have been slow. The rest of the bay's have been good. Live shrimp under a cork or free lining them have been working well for trout, drum and reds.  Croaker have been good as well for trout and reds. Plastics have been working good for trout and reds. The reefs in most of the bay's have been holding fish. A lot of the sand and grass shore lines have been holding reds since the water has started to fall out. There are fish to be caught. You just have to work for them sometimes harder than others. It's been hot so make sure you have sun block and dress well for the day. Be safe and good luck on your next day on the water.

Good luck on your next adventure!!!
Thanks for reading my reports - Happy New Year to ALl!
